Cibinong 10 December 2011

Taman Sukasada Karangasem 25 December 2011

The weather in Bali is so hot, hotter than in Jakarta :)
Today i went to Karangasem, is far enough from my sister's house in Ubud, it took 2 hours by car.

The view on the way to Karangasem is so blue,,,fabulous, we can see Mt. Agung too. The route from Ubud to Karangasem : Ubud-Gianyar-Goa Lawah-Karangasem.

On the street side of Goa Lawah, there were many "sate pusut" restaurant. Sate pusut is a kind of sate (baberque) made by fish.

A note from me if u wanna visit Taman sukasada, u have to put ur DSLR camera into ur bag, because they charged me Rp. 50.000/ camera. At that time my sister also brought DSLR, and they charged Rp. 50.000 too :)

Entry Fee : Rp. 5.000
DSLR Charge : Rp. 50.000
Sate Pusut : Rp. 1000/piece
Sate Pusut Package : Rp. 6.000 include rice, hot tea, sambal matah, pepes ikan, fish ball soup, plecing, 6 pieces of sate pusut. Cheap enough, coz in Jakarta the price of sate pusut more less 28.000 in my fav cafe :)

Below is the details of Taman Sukasada taken from website : http://www.balistarisland.com/Bali-Interesting-Place/Taman-Sukasada.htm

Taman Sukasada or Sukasada Park is a beautiful park with big fish pond surrounds the old Karangasem Empire heritage building which is used by the Karangasem's King for day relaxation or meeting place in their era. At the period of I Gusti Bagus Jelantik governance which start to lead the Karangasem Kingdom in the year 1909, this pool area is extended and developed by some pools and also luxury building Bale Gili with European style (modern style), later then it is given the name called Taman Sukasada/ Sukasada Park Ujung Karangasem, that is estimate made in the year of twentieth.
